Bible verse:
John 14:24–26 (NIV) -- 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. 25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
My take for today:
The Holy Spirit, the reminder.
My prayer:
Father, I thank You for Your promise that You will not leave us by our human effort to do what You have tailored us to do for Your glory. Thank You for confronting the prince of darkness, whose mission is to kill, steal, and destroy. Now, Lord, help me to remember everything You taught me and to have life to its fullest. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
