Bible verse:
Exodus 2:23-25 NIV
“During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God. God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them.”
My take for today:
Lord, deliver me from my oppressor and suppressor.
My prayer:
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, I come to you today, thanking you for calling me your very own, your child, and the apple of your eye. Lord! Release your power and set me free from my oppressors and suppressors of the Egypt of my soul, to function in the beauty of wholesomeness in Jesus’ name. Amen.
