Pastor Eric's Words of Redemption
My Bible verse for today:
Matthew 21:12-13 NIV
Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. “It is written,” He said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”
My take for today:
Father, I thank You for making us Your living temple by the death of Your Son and by the giving of the Holy Spirit. Father, take control of Your church, throw out all those who are buying and selling and money-milking Your people, in Jesus' name, Amen.

ReplyDeleteI can’t stand your religious meetings. I’m fed up with your conferences and conventions. I want nothing to do with your religion projects, your pretentious slogans and goals. I’m sick of your fund-raising schemes, your public relations and image making. I’ve had all I can take of your noisy ego-music.
When was the last time you sang to me? Do you know what I want? I want justice—oceans of it. I want fairness—rivers of it. That’s what I want. That’s all I want.
