Pastor Eric's Words of Redemption

Bible verse:
John 14:6–11 (NIV) -- 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” 8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” 9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves..

My take for today:
Jesus Christ is God incarnate.

My prayer:
Oh God, I thank You for knowing that You are in Christ.
As your Son, Christ, declares: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you know Me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him.” Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered: “Don’t you know Me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and that the Father is in Me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my authority.”
Lord God, I thank you for showing us what You are like in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Pastor Eric's Words of Redemption

Bible verse:
Romans 12:2–3 (NIV) -- 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. 3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

My take for today:
Transformation.

My prayer for transformation:
What a joy to hear you, Lord, say, transformed by the renewal of your mind with the understanding that we can excel beyond all human abilities by the power of the Holy Spirit residing in us. With this understanding, Lord, let me say thank you. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Bible verse:
James 4:13–15 (NIV) -- 13 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”

My take for today:
 A Godly purpose-filled lifestyle.

My prayer:
LORD! Let me live a life filled with your plans and purpose each day. Lord, let me count my minute as an hour, my hour as a week, my week as a month, my month as a year, and life as a door to everlasting life in Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Bible verse:
Ephesians 5:15–17 (NIV) -- 15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

My take for today:
A conscious lifestyle.

My prayer:
Lord, I am grateful to you for being conscious of life, that it is like a cloud of smoke before you know it is gone. Lord, let me live each day with a spirit of love and accountability as borrowed time from You.
In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Pastor Eric's Words of Redemption

Bible verse:
1 Corinthians 2:6–11 (NIV) -- 6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— 10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

My take for today:
Hope in Jesus Christ.

My prayer:
It is more than joy, Lord, to look with the eyes of Grace, through divine revelation, to see those things which you have for us who love You. For all that we know and see or imagine, let me say thank you for the hope of eternal life in Christ Jesus.
As it is in the Bible: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him— these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.”  In the name of  Jesus Christ. Amen!

Bible verse:

Mark 8:34–36, 38 (NIV) -- 34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 35 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. 36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?

38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”.

My take for today:
Don't lose your soul.

My prayer:
Father, I thank you for another day to learn and think about you, myself, others, and the world that is changing by technology at a lightning pace. Because of all of these, Lord, keep me heavenly focused. In the blessed name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Pastor Eric's Words of Redemption

Bible verse:
1 Samuel 1:6–9 (NIV) -- 6 Because the Lord had closed Hannah’s womb, her rival kept provoking her in order to irritate her. 7 This went on year after year. Whenever Hannah went up to the house of the Lord, her rival provoked her till she wept and would not eat. 8 Her husband Elkanah would say to her, “Hannah, why are you weeping? Why don’t you eat? Why are you downhearted? Don’t I mean more to you than ten sons?” 9 Once when they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh, Hannah stood up. Now Eli the priest was sitting on his chair by the doorpost of the Lord’s house.
1 Samuel 1:13–18 (NIV) -- 13 Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk 14 and said to her, “How long are you going to stay drunk? Put away your wine.” 15 “Not so, my lord,” Hannah replied, “I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the Lord. 16 Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief.” 17 Eli answered, “Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him.” 18 She said, “May your servant find favor in your eyes.” Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast..

My take for today:
Lord, let me find favor in You.

My prayer:
Father, my hope of vindication and victory is in you, the author of Alpha and the Omega. Thank you for hearing my plea. Look on me with mercy as your creature, created for your glory. Oh Lord, let me find favor in your sight today and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Bible verse:
Proverbs 23:23 (NIV) -- 23 Buy the truth and do not sell it— wisdom, instruction and insight as well.

John 17:17 (NIV) -- 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

My take for today:
Buy the Truth and sell it not.

My prayer:
Father, I thank you for the Spirit of Truth to examine the past, present, and future; to live an authentic lifestyle; and to depend on the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit. Lord, help me to buy the Truth without money and not sell it, but to apply wisdom, instruction, and insight for myself and others. In the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Bible verse:
Deuteronomy 8:17–19 (NIV) -- 17 You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today. 19 If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed.

My take for today:
Lord, you are the giver of wisdom and wealth.

My prayer:
Father, I thank you for the power or ability to produce or obtain riches. Lord, help me to live and continually remember that you are the giver and source of all things good and just. Thank you for your favor upon my life. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Bible verse:
Proverbs 16:2–4 (NIV) -- 2 All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. 3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. 4 The Lord works out everything to its proper end— even the wicked for a day of disaster.
Proverbs 16:16–18 (NIV) -- 16 How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver! 17 The highway of the upright avoids evil; those who guard their ways preserve their lives. 18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

My take for today:
Pride versus Humility.

My prayer:
Father, help me this morning not listen to arrogance or the father of pride, the devil.  So, Lord helps me to detect all forms of arrogance and Self-deception within and out, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Bible verse:
Luke 17:5–6 (NIV) -- 5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” 6 He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.

My take for today:
Lord help me to speak by faith.

My prayer:
Father, give me the right words to say to humanity at all times or to keep quiet. Lord, help me to speak to my mountains of problems, sickness, and infirmities by faith as a mustard seed.
In the same of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Bible verse:
Matthew 24:1–3, 5 (NIV) -- 1 Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2 “Do you see all these things?” he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.” 3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.

My take for today:
Let no one deceive you.

My prayer:
Father, let no one deceive your children in this present time of massive misrepresentation of the Gospel of Salvation in Christ as stated by Christ: "For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many." In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

John 10:27–29 (KJV) -- 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

My take for today:
The Lord is my keeper.

My prayer:
Father, I am in the palm of your right hand as guaranteed by Jesus Christ. No one can pluck me out of your Hand. Lord, help me to meditate on your promises that you are with me always in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

My take for today:
Lord, here I am.

My prayer:
Lord, I thank you for your answer to all forms of accusations of sins coming from Beelzebub and his agents of darkness. As an invitation to all:  “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Now Lord, make me complete in Jesus Christ, Amen.

Psalm 138:1–3 (KJV) -- 1 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee. 2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. 3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

My take for today:
God answers His children.

My prayer for Healing:
Father, I thank you for the potency of the words spoken that will not return void but affirm in heaven above Your Name. Father, release over me the healing of your wings in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

My take for today:
My body is the temple of God.

My prayer of Thanksgiving:
Jehovah Rapha, I thank you for your healing virtue flowing through my body this morning, destroying sickness, diseases, and infinities that have been housed my body which is your temple. Lord, I present and declare my body as your living habitation in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Bible verse:
Mark 4:35–39 (NIV) -- 35 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” 36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” 39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

My take for today:
Lord, I need your help.

My prayer:
Father, my cry to you this morning is for you to tell the storm of darkness surrounding me "Quiet! Be still.”  In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Bible verse:
Psalm 46:1–11 (NIV) -- 1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, 3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. 4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. 5 God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. 6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. 7 The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. 8 Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. 9 He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. 10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” 11 The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

My take for today:
God is a present help in times of trouble.

My prayer:
LORD, I thank you for the power of grace to go on when I think all is lost and I can’t go on any longer in my strength. Lord, help me to look up to you in times of trial and darkness. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Bible verse:

Romans 14:8–9 (NIV) -- 8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

My take for today:
We are God's.

My prayer:
Lord, I thank you for eternal life in Jesus Christ. Lord helps us to live out this knowledge of belonging each day as recipients of enteral life, knowing that whether we live or die, we belong to You. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Bible verse:
John 4:21–24 (NIV) -- 21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

My take for today:
Worship God in spirit and in truth.

My prayer:
Father, let me voice out praise and thanksgiving, in spirit and in truth, to you for what you are doing in my life. I am grateful for being conscious to know you as the source of my life. Lord, help me to praise and worship you in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Pastor Eric's Words of Redemption

Bible verse:

Romans 10:1–11 (NIV) -- 1 Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3 Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. 4 Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. 5 Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law: “The person who does these things will live by them.” 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 “or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

My take for today:
Believe, be saved!

My prayer:
Lord, look down on your people, this morning, the nation of Isreal, and grant them the Grace of Salvation. Father, I pray that the people of Israel's eyes are opened so that they will see Jesus Christ as the Messiah and giver of Salvation. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Bible verse:
Luke 19:2–10 (NIV) -- 2 A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. 3 He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way. 5 When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.” 6 So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly. 7 All the people saw this and began to mutter, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinner.” 8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

My take for today:
Salvation.

My prayer:
Lord, I thank you for the reality of salvation made possible by the Blood of Christ before the foundation of the cosmos when you spoke the world into existence. Now, oh Lord, speak to the children of Abraham in the East, West, North, and South, by faith through the knowledge of grace unto salvation in Jesus Christ. Father save your people, Amen.

My take for today:
The power given to Christ-followers.

My prayer:
Oh Lord, I thank you for your supernatural power, that is not human-sourced, but mighty through you to destroy the forces of darkness. Help me, Lord, to use your spiritual weapons to bind and pluck out in me, my family, and those you have ordained me to influence in this world.

My take for today:
The light of God's Word.

My prayer:
Oh, Father of Grace, I thank you for being a recipient of your undeserved favor, destroying the power of darkness in me as I walk in the light of God and the blood of Jesus Christ. Now, Lord, intensify your light in me. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Bible verse

Romans 7:22–25 (NIV) -- 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.

My take for today:

The depravity of human nature.

My prayer:
God of righteousness, I thank You for helping me to come to the state of complete certainty that there is nothing in me I can trust or depend on to see me through this world of sin, uncertainty, and destruction, save eternal life: that I may know the true God and Jesus Christ whom You have sent to give life to the humanity of which I am. Thank You for seeing my true self in exchange for Your righteousness, in Jesus Christ. Amen.
