Pastor Eric's Words of Redemption

Bible verse
“I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing. You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”

My take for today:
It is more joyful to give.

My prayer:
Father, let me say thank you for the quantum shift from self to living for others, reaping up the fullness of joy. Yes, it is more blessed to give than to receive. In the name of Jesus Christ, the author of truth. Amen.

Bible verse:
“Rescue me, Lord, from evildoers; protect me from the violent, who devise evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day. They make their tongues as sharp as a serpent’s; the poison of vipers is on their lips. Keep me safe, Lord, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from the violent, who devise ways to trip my feet.”

My take for today:
The Lord protects me from evildoers.

My prayer:
Lord, I thank you for choosing me out of this generation's world of corruption, leading me through the process of sanctification so that your light will shine in and through me to the glory and praise of your name. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Let God’s desire be my desire.

My prayer:
Lord, let the words of my prayer to you today align with your purpose of my creation in Christ Jesus as I decipher my purpose for existence in this world of sin and death. Thanks for the gift of the Holy Spirit in aligning my prayers with your purpose in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Pastor Eric's Words of Redemption

Bible verse:
“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them... There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.”

My take for today:
Spiritual gifts in Christ.

My prayer:
O Lord, I give you the praise, glory, and honor for all spiritual blessings in Christ in which I stand, being empowered by grace to run the race of life set before me. Lord, increase the awareness in me to realize and use my gifts for the extension of your kingdom. Amen!

Bible verse:
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

My take for today:
Be blessed to be a blessing to others.

My prayer:
In the beauty of consciousness, Lord, let me say thank you for all that you have done and are still doing in my life, and for others to be blessed and to be a blessing to humanity in grace, knowledge, and love.
In the name of  Jesus Christ, Amen.

Pastor Eric's Words of Redemption

Bible verse:
Luke‬ ‭1:26-35‬ ‭NIV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
“In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.” “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.”

My take for today:
The empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

My prayer:
Father, I pray that your Holy Spirit will overshadow me this day and forever, causing me to walk in the light of my existence to fulfill your purpose. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen!

Bible verse:
Ephesians‬ ‭1:15-19‬ ‭NIV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
“For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength”.

My take for today:
Open my spiritual eyes, O Lord.

My prayer:
Lord, I am troubled by my natural abilities to see in the realm of the divine. Lord, open the eyes of my understanding that I may see you at work in my day-to-day trials of life. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

Bible verse:
Romans‬ ‭5:19-21‬ ‭NIV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
“For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous. The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

My take for today:
Grace abounds where sins prevail.

My prayer:
Lord, you declared in your word that where sin abounds, your grace abounds the more in those you have called into fellowship. Father, I have struggled with my sin of '.....', set me free Lord now by your word. In the name of Jesus Christ, I cry. Amen.

My take for today:

My prayer:
O Lord, my surgeon, I present my body to you to be operated upon today. Lord, destroy, pluck out, and cast out any disease, sickness, and infirmity that has invaded your temple, my body. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

"Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile."

Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.
