I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.

My take for today:

God, You are my Jehovah-Nissi.

My prayer:

Father grant unto me wisdom, knowledge, understanding, strength, and resilience as I face the Goliaths of this world. 

Lord, I know You are my Jehovah-Nissi, You go before me as my banner of refuge and victory in every circumstance I face. 

Today and forever, thank You for covering me; in Jesus Christ, Amen.

The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land. In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The Lord Our Righteous Savior.

My take for today:

The Lord is my righteousness.

My prayer:

Father, thank You for saving me from the habit of constantly trying to vindicate myself. I do not need explanations to people to justify my stance on Christ. Lord God, Almighty You are my Jehovah-Tsidkenu in now and forever; in Jesus Christ, Amen.

You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

My take for today:

The Lord is my shepherd.

My prayer:

Father, I thank You so much for being in charge of all the situations confronting me. No matter what furnace of this world I must deal with, I appreciate that You are with me, guiding me, taking care of me all the days of my life. Oh Lord, You are my Jehovah-Raah, thus I will sing and praise Your name forever.

My take for today:

God is my peace.

My prayer:

Father, 

I have come to the end of my struggling to keep my peace with my children, spouse, loved ones, and even at my place of work. 

Permanently affect my personality, mind and heart to deal with all things according to Your purpose and for Your glory. 

Lord, be my Jehovah-Shalom from this day onwards and forever more; in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

My take for today:

The Lord is our Provider.

My prayer:

Father, 

I come to You today with my needs weighing me down -- affecting my family, my health, and even my relationships with people. 

Lord, be my Jehovah-Jireh today and forevermore.

Our God is merciful.

My take for today:

Fight the good fight of faith.

My prayer:

Father, let me say thank You this morning.

Thank You for giving me victory over the leviathan, the old serpent, together with his forces during the cause of the night.

My prayer:

Oh GOD, thank You for the novelty to know that reconciliation leads to more doses of Your agape love, as illustrated in the parable of the prodigal son.

Reconcile yourself with God.

My prayer:

Father, I thank You for the power of reconciliation through Jesus Christ. Thank You for making us Your children and ministers of reconciliation. Lord, let us assess ourselves and if found wanting, be reconciled to self, and with You; in Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

My take for today:

Christ gave us the power to build His Church.

My prayer:

Father, I thank You for the power to build Your Church. Lord, I stand in the power of grace and the Blood of Jesus Christ; I bind and destroy anything that will stop or lessen the flow of Your redemption work in the lives of Your chosen people in Jesus Christ, Amen.

My take for today:

Thank You, God, for Your still small voice.

My prayer:

Father, 

I thank You for that still small voice of shepherding when I'm faced with the complexities of life, with worldly suggestions coming my way, and the devil's promptings which lead to destruction. 

Thank You for interceding on my behalf and giving me an ear to hear You; in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?  Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature[a] a slave to the law of sin.

My take for today:

Victory over my struggles, in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord.

My prayer:

Lord, I come today, thanking you for freedom over the power of the flesh to do what is righteous in your sight. Father, thanks for Jesus Christ, who continues to give me the victory as I struggle; in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I must examine my thoughts in the light of God’s Word.

My prayer:

Father, I thank you for reminding me, constantly, that the battles of life are not won by the outer perspectives of this world but from my sanctified mind within. So Lord, assist me this morning to hold every thought as a prisoner to the obedience of God; in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

My take for today:

God has not given us the spirit of timidity but of power, love, and sound mind.

My prayer:

Lord, I thank you for the gifts of power, love, and a sound mind given to me to rout out the principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places; and anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. 

I embrace the spirit of love to forgive all my natural enemies. I use the mind of Christ in every situation to obtain victory; in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

My take for today:

Thank You, Lord, for saving me by grace and Holy Spirit baptism with fire.

My prayer:

Father! I thank You for Your grace which empowers, and Your truth that consumes, purifies, and sets us free from the nature of sin and the power of evil through sanctification. Lord, let Your Grace and Truth abound in me nightly.

Lord God! I thank You for the gospel by John the Baptist.  Furthermore, let me say, thank You for Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit that weaponized our salvation, accessing all that we need to bring down the evil forces against our salvation; in Jesus Christ, Amen.

Father, I thank You for the grace to harness in the realm of heavenly places, to access all necessities in this physical world.  Lord, I stand by asking for all that is beyond my experience and expectations; in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Be specific in your asking.

My prayer:

Father, I thank You for the preciseness of the Blood of Jesus Christ to destroy the nature of sickness and the power of sickness over our lives. Now, Lord, I rout with specificity every sickness by name under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, bringing them to the subjectivity of the Blood, in healing; in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

My take for today:

Lord, help me to eat and drink.

My prayer:

Father, thank You for Your Word that was made flesh, and dwelled among men; and we saw His glory, the glory of the only begotten Son full of grace and truth. Now Lord, help to eat His Flesh(Word) and drink His blood (Holy Spirit) so that we will have abundant life and manifest His divine nature; in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Respond to God’s saving Grace.

My prayer:

Father God, 

I thank You for Your inexpressible, wonderful salvation. As I reflect upon my life from infancy to maturity, I am grateful for how You have shaped and formed me. In response to Your gift of life, Lord, I present myself as a living sacrifice to You, in response to Your saving grace.

A carefree lifestyle is a prayerful life.

My prayer:

Father, I am very grateful this morning for Your antidote for worries in this world prone to self-esteem and self-accomplishments. Lord, give me the grace to take everything to You in prayer, and to live a carefree lifestyle; in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Seek the Kingdom and its righteousness

My prayer:

Lord, with my needs and cares, I come to You today, embracing Your promises.  Father, give me the grace to seek Your Kingdom and Your righteousness so that my needs will be supplied abundantly; in Jesus Christ, Amen.

Lord, give me grace in time of need.

Father, with my lack of strength and ability to make a decision, I come to You this morning. I am asking You for an answer, direction, and guidance of the Holy Spirit to obtain victory. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen.

My take for today:

The power of the cross of Christ.

My prayer:

Father, I thank You for the power of the cross of Jesus Christ to heal.  Lord, I come to the cross, this morning. I nail my infirmities, sicknesses, and diseases on the cross in return for the stripes of Jesus Christ, to obtain my healing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hebrews 9:22 NIV

In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

My take for today:

Without the shedding of His blood, there is no answer for sin.

My prayer:

Father, without the shedding of the Blood of Jesus Christ, there is no remission of sin. Because of the accusations of sin by the enemy, I use the Blood of Christ as my answer and prevention; in Jesus' name, Amen.
